My name is Lee Simpson. With over two decades of experience in engineering, design, marketing, and strategy, I am a seasoned product and brand leader specializing in emerging markets and technologies.
I am the founder and principal at SMPSN, an independent client-service practice specializing in product strategy and experience innovation. We work with founders and business leaders to craft lasting consumer connections at scale.
Previously, I worked with an award-winning agency, ustwo, where I was responsible for developing and delivering projects in the TV and entertainment industry. During this time, I oversaw partnerships with major media companies such as Netflix, Warner Bros., and NBCUniversal. For four years, I led a dedicated team focused on creating innovative products and experiences to address the complex business challenges in the media and content sector.
As an expert in my field, I have spoken at key industry events such as the New York Media Festival and the Northside Innovation Festival. My insights have been featured in publications including CIO Review, AdWeek, and Communication Arts. Additionally, I have shared my expertise as a guest lecturer at institutions like Hyper Island and Newcastle College, and I have created educational content for The Guardian Masterclasses and General Assembly.
Throughout my career, I have been committed to fostering innovation by mentoring at accelerator programs such as Ignite100 and the Capitol Records 360 Innovation Program, advising startups, and guiding founders and leadership teams toward success.
